The NEVID (Neuro-Endovascular Intervention Diploma) advisory board would like to expand its warm congratulations to Prof. Ahmed Elbassiouny (Director of NEVID program) in the context of his talk presented at the SVIN – Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology annual conference in November 2025, under the title of “Neurointervention in Egypt: Launching the NEVID diploma,” the first accridited neurointervention training program in Egypt 7nder the auspices of GOTHI and in collaboration with Egyptian Universities, Armed forces and olice hospitals. His participation has received the admiration of the attending professors in this field and the entire audience.

We also send our extended congratulations to Ain Shams University Stroke Center – Hany Aref Unit (ASUSC) for getting awarded by the Stroke Intervention Laboratory Certification (SILC) as the first center in Egypt and outside of USA to receive such a prestigious accreditation.
