The Ministry of Health and Population announced that the GOTHI has achieved a remarkable accomplishment by obtaining institutional accreditation from the Arab Board for Health Specializations, affiliated with the Council of Arab Health Ministers of the Arab League. This accreditation also applies to 21 training programs organized by the Authority’s General Secretariat Training Center.
Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, emphasized that this accreditation reflects the GOTHI’s commitment to implementing the highest quality standards in medical training. He pointed out that the Authority’s training mechanisms are aligned with an integrated and dynamic system, whether at the General Secretariat Training Center or at the training centers spread across the Authority’s hospitals and institutes, strengthening its position as a leading institution in medical education.
For his part, Dr. Mohamed Mostafa Abdel Ghaffar, President of GOTHI, explained that the GOTHI’s training center is equipped with the latest technology and training simulators, and offers diverse training programs and professional diplomas accredited by the relevant unions. He added that this achievement reflects the GOTHI’s commitment to providing advanced medical education that meets health market requirements and keeps pace with the latest developments in the medical field, not only locally but also across the Middle East and Africa. This represents a qualitative step towards strengthening the GOTHI’s position in training and continuing medical education.
He pointed out that GOTHI continues its efforts to achieve its strategic objectives, which focus on raising the level of medical training and applied research, while strengthening the link between continuing medical education, scientific research, and the provision of distinguished healthcare services. He emphasized that this integration contributes to building an advanced and sustainable healthcare system that enhances the quality of healthcare provided to citizens.
This achievement confirms the GOTHI’s pioneering role in developing medical personnel and strengthening Egypt’s position as a regional center for medical training and education, supporting the country’s vision of achieving excellence in the healthcare sector.
